The Nintendo Switch is the most searched gaming system right now, and its impossible to get your hands on!
It seems like it’s out of stock everywhere!
The Switch is great because it provides entertainment for the whole family, plus it can be used without occupying the only TV in the house.
Don’t Waste Time with the Nintendo Website
Sure, you can visit the Nintendo website directly and click ‘Buy Now’; but that won’t get you very far!
The website is out of stock no matter when you visit and it isn’t worth the wait to buy directly from the company.
Use StockInformer.com to Find Nintendo Switch In Stock
This website is an awesome and reliable source to check Nintendo Switch stock by using your zip code.
While yes, searching for the Nintendo Switch on stockinformer.com is discouraging because it is out of stock everywhere, at least we only have to check one place instead of visiting 5 different websites!
Use BrickSeek.com to Find Nintendo Switch In Stock
This site works similarly to stockinformer.com, but you can also search by store.
On brickseek.com, you can check the specific stock at a place like Target or Best Buy if you know thats where you’d like to get your gaming console; or you can search by zip code if you just want whatever is in stock now.
Don’t Be Afraid to Put It on Hold
Once you’ve determined there is any stock at a retailer local to you, call them!
Ask the staff to put the item on hold and/or arrange pickup.
Best Day to buy Switch? Check on Tuesday
Based on some research I’ve done, Tuesday is the magic day for Nintendo Switch. Delivery schedules are a little whacky these days; but it seems like Tuesday is the day for Nintendo at tech stores!
Avoid third party sellers!
Yes, there are a lot of third party sellers on places like Amazon and eBay, but they often raise the price, and it just isn’t worth it.
The retail price of the Nintendo is pretty stable and while it is an awesome product, it isn’t worth the extra dough just to get it a few days sooner.
Protect Your Purchases
This tip isn’t specific to the Nintendo Switch – make sure you’re smart when shopping online more now that your home.
NEVER use a debit card when shopping online, your debit card is linked directly to your bank account and it is much tougher to protect yourself from scams.
Credit cards offer a buffer of protection when shopping online, and they should always be used for online purchases!
